Copper & Timber Interior Design LED Kitchen

Western Road, Brighton

The Brief

Saima wanted a kitchen which was inviting with a perfect blend of rustic and modern elements. She expressed her fondness in the use of natural textures and sleek finishes with a darker colour palette to create an ambient, inviting space. The overall atmosphere wanted was somewhere cozy and sophisticated, perfect for everyday use.

The Design

Saima’s kitchen combines rustic warmth with a modern touch, using bronze cabinetry and sleek white quartz countertops for a refined contrast. Wooden cabinets add an organic, cozy feel, balanced by the rich tones of a black matte finish around the cooking area. The exposed brick archway frames the space, connecting it to a dining nook with warm, inviting lighting from industrial-style brass and black pendants. Herringbone-patterned flooring provides texture and flow throughout the space, complementing the cabinetry’s earthy tones. Integrated under-cabinet lighting illuminates workspaces, enhancing both functionality and ambience. This thoughtful mix of materials and finishes creates a kitchen that feels both welcoming and sophisticated, exactly as Saima envisioned.

“So pleased with the final result of the kitchen. Having scoured more traditional kitchens since we had a range cooker in-situ that we initially wanted to keep, we took the plunge with the design suggestions of an induction hob and the idea of increased work surface space, which was wholly necessary. We were blown away at how much larger our kitchen became coupled with the stunning cabinets. Our kitchen is the true hub of the home now!”
