Amy was seeking a bespoke Shaker-style kitchen that would bring a sense of timeless elegance to her home in Westerham, Kent. She liked the idea of a muted, sophisticated colour palette, leaning towards soft greens and neutrals to create a light, serene ambiance. Her design priorities were clear: a central island to anchor the space, ample storage to maintain a clean look, and subtle wood accents to add warmth. The result is a custom Shaker kitchen that perfectly blends classic style with modern functionality.

The design

This bespoke Shaker kitchen combines classic style with modern practicality. The muted green cabinetry sets a calming tone, centered around a spacious island topped with quartz and featuring a sleek Bora induction hob with integrated downdraft extraction. Hidden behind matching cabinet doors, a discreet pantry provides ample storage while maintaining the streamlined look. A Quooker tap adds convenience with instant boiling water, while rich wood accents bring warmth, creating an inviting and highly functional space tailored to Amy’s vision.
