The Brief

The homeowners wanted a bright, contemporary kitchen that would be both a stylish focal point and a highly functional space for everyday living. Their vision included a clean, minimalist aesthetic with handleless cabinetry, an island for socialising, and a seamless flow into the dining and living areas. Natural light was a priority, as was a strong connection to the garden and pool for indoor-outdoor living.

They also requested a statement feature for entertaining, which led to the creation of a bespoke bronze mirror home bar. Practicality was equally important, so a fully equipped utility room with integrated laundry appliances, generous storage, and even a dedicated dog bed space was incorporated into the design.

Light-Filled Minimalist Kitchen Design

This open-plan kitchen and living space showcases the elegance of modern minimalism. The bright white cabinetry and waterfall island create a sense of effortless refinement, while the handleless design ensures a seamless, uncluttered aesthetic. Large skylights and floor-to-ceiling glazing invite in an abundance of natural light, enhancing the airy feel and highlighting the connection between indoor and outdoor living.

Bespoke Home Bar and Practical Utility Space

The bronze mirror splashback in the bespoke home bar adds depth and a refined focal point, creating an ideal space for entertaining guests. The dining area is positioned to capture serene views of the pool and gardens, while vibrant orange designer chairs provide a striking visual contrast within the calm, neutral palette. The design extends into a high-functioning utility room, where integrated laundry appliances, a pull-out platform, and custom cabinetry meet the practical demands of everyday living. Even the family dog enjoys a dedicated, built-in sleeping nook. This is a home where understated luxury, comfort, and practicality work seamlessly together.
