Modern Industrial Kitchen with Exposed Brickwork and Antique Glass

Modern Industrial Kitchen with Exposed Brickwork and Antique Glass

Our brief here was to give our client’s kitchen a completely different look; something sleek, contemporary and edgy.

The combination of exposed brick, dark flat panels and vivid orange accents are an eclectic mix that add contrasting tones which are carefully chosen to complement the overall aesthetic. The stainless steel appliances contribute to the industrial feel, while the quartz worktops add a touch of elegance.

“The Brighton Kitchen Company have created the most amazing, unique space for me and my family. The designer invested a huge amount of time on our project: consulting, researching products and amending plans according to our needs. Chris regularly visited the site to check on progress and to ensure the work was being carried out to a high standard. The fitters were dedicated and took on board any challenge that the design warranted. All in all, I cannot recommend them enough!”

Matt White and Diamond Graphite Kitchen with White Carrara Quartz Worktop

What started as a blank canvas is now a bold, ultra-modern living space. I love everything about this design, but the unsung hero for me has got to be the Grespania Tempo Smoke floor tiles – they work perfectly.

This German, Rempp kitchen with contrasting matt light grey and dark grey doors gives the space a really cool, modern feel, supported by the CRL quartz worktop in Verona finish and Grespania Tempo Smoke large format floor tiles.

A must-have on the wish list was a large capacity fridge and separate freezer with ice and water function, so we fitted a Siemens A-Cool, which was complemented by other Siemens StudioLine appliances, plus a Miele wine cooler, Franke sink and a Quooker Flex tap. All of these appliances and features provide the kitchen with innovative technology and smooth aesthetics, the stainless steel fronts of the Siemens range also adding to the industrial feel.

A range of textures were built into the design to build on this theme, including an acid-etched copper panel radiator from Bisque, brick tiles by the Feature Wall & Floor Company, distressed-style glass splashback/feature panelling by Opticolour, Spekva wood worktop, Thermo Ash breakfast bar/matching shelves and feature amber pendant lighting by Urban Cottage Industries.
